Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both travelers and providers while ensuring the best possible experience for everyone.
Standard Cancellation Policy
Unless otherwise stated on the specific experience page, our standard cancellation policy applies:
- More than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus a 5% processing fee
- 15-30 days before departure: 50% refund
- Less than 15 days before departure: No refund (unless covered by travel insurance)
Provider-Specific Policies
Some experiences may have different cancellation policies set by the provider. These will be clearly displayed on the experience page and at checkout. Please review these policies before booking.
How to Cancel
To cancel a booking, please contact us at hello@salcation.com or through your booking confirmation email. Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.
Force Majeure
In the event of circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, etc.), we will work with providers and travelers to find the best solution, which may include rescheduling or a full refund.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations. Many policies cover cancellations due to illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances.
